Typical high / low (°F) and days with rain or snow, 1991–2020. Measured at Victorville, CA, 20.3 mi away at 2,880 ft. The station sits about 1,000 ft lower than this place, so expect it a little cooler here. Source: NOAA NCEI U.S. Climate Normals 1991–2020.

Zen Arcade is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Barstow Field Office in California, about 20 miles from Victorville. It sits among a cluster of other climbing areas, so it works well as a stop in a day of bouldering and route climbing in the region. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Victorville show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 79°F, while July and August average in the upper 90s. That station sits roughly 1,000 feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures up high run cooler. Southern Canyon Crags is just 0.1 mile away, and Fairway and Cliffs of Insanity are each about 0.3 mile off. For an overnight stay, Sawtooth Canyon Campground is about 0.9 mile away.
