Year of the Cat Gully is a bouldering area in the San Jacinto Ranger District of San Bernardino National Forest, within Mount San Jacinto State Park in California. State Park and Recreation manages the land. The gully sits close to two other climbing areas, The Beach and Tram Boulder, each about 0.1 mile away. The Round Valley Trail and the Desert View Trail both start within a mile, making it easy to pair a bouldering session with a walk. The area holds 14 boulder routes, all rated on the V scale. The easiest are V1, and the hardest, Year of the Cat, is V9-10. Other notable routes include The Persistence of Time (V5-6) and Not a Flowmaster (V5+).
