It sits among several other named climbing spots, so it works well as a single stop or as part of a longer day at the wall. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sonora show May and October highs around 76°F with lows in the mid-40s and only about four wet days a month. July and August average highs in the low 90s with almost no rain. The closest climbing areas are Grotto, The and Ort Wall, each about a tenth of a mile away. Table Mountain is about 0.2 miles off.
