Senior Wall is a rock climbing area in California, on the New Melones land unit managed by the Bureau of Reclamation. The wall sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with Fort Apache and Table Mountain each about 0.2 miles away and The Eastern Front about 0.3 miles off. That makes it easy to pair with other routes in the same corner of the New Melones area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sonora show May and October highs around 76°F with only a few wet days, while July and August average highs in the low 90s. The area has 12 routes, mostly sport climbs with a single trad route, Waterfall Route at 5.4. The sport routes range from 5.8 to 5.10d, with Senioritis and Walking Shadow among the more notable ones. Senior Project and TMB are the two hardest, at 5.10b and 5.10d. For a change from the rock, Fox Ravine Trail and Kingsnake Loop Trail are both about 4.5 miles away, and Sullivan Creek offers paddling at a similar distance.
