Stonehenge Boulders is a bouldering area in Joshua Tree National Park in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of other boulders, with Black Lichen Boulder, Hoi Polloi Boulder and Seven Grain Boulder all about 0.1 mile away. The area is a compact, close-together set of boulders rather than a long route, and it works well as a short stop for climbers looking to get on a rock quickly. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yucca Valley show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average about 96°F. That station sits roughly 1,000 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the rocks run cooler. The boulders have five routes, all rated on the V scale. Mushroom Problem is V0-, End of the Day is V1 and Almost a Mantel is V2. Cap Rock, a hike about 0.3 mile away, and Ryan Ranch Trailhead, about 0.4 mile away, are the closest trails. Sheep Pass Group campground is about 2.5 miles off.
