Typical high / low (°F) and days with rain or snow, 1991–2020. Measured at Ramona Fire Dept, CA, 4 mi away at 1,470 ft. The station sits about 600 ft lower than this place, so expect it a little cooler here. Source: NOAA NCEI U.S. Climate Normals 1991–2020.

Shirley and the Gang is a climbing area in California, about 2.8 miles from the town of Rosemont. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Joystick Boulder just 0.1 mile away and Rock Haven Spring Slopes at 0.2 mile. South Mt. Woodson is 0.3 mile off, so the area works well as a base for a day of bouldering and sport climbing close together. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ramona show May highs around 77°F and October highs around 82°F, while July and August average in the low 90s. That station sits about 580 feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures here run a little cooler. The area has three routes, two sport climbs rated 5.7 and a boulder problem at V0+. Squiggy is one of the sport routes, and the other is an unnamed 5.7 fingercrack. For a change from climbing, Warren Canyon Trail is 0.6 mile away and Iron Mountain Peak Trail is 1.1 mile away.
