Funk Soul Sister and Trip Like I Do are among the named routes, and the grades cluster around 5.10c. The area is best suited to climbers who want a day of sport climbing on a single crag. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from the Big Bear Lake weather station, about 12 miles away, show July highs near 80°F with lows around 50°F, while winter highs sit in the mid-40s.
