Helios Boulder is a climbing area in California's San Jacinto Wildlife Area, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits within the wildlife area's network of climbing spots, so plan on spending a day exploring the surrounding boulders and slabs rather than a single route. Spring and fall bring the most comfortable conditions. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 74°F and October highs around 82°F, while July and August average about 94°F and 95°F. The Main Slab's Lower, Upper and The Sundeck areas all lie about 0.1 mile away, and Big Rock Sport Boulder is about half a mile off. Farther out, the Juan Bautista Trail is about 2.4 miles away for a hike after climbing.
