Donner/Truckee Bouldering is a bouldering area in California's Tahoe National Forest, within the Truckee Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing here is all bouldering, with 11 routes spread across the site. The grades run from V0 to V8, with the hardest route, Maximum Overdrive, at V8. That gives climbers a range of options, from easy to challenging. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. A nearby weather station records typical July highs around 82°F with lows near 44°F, and the area stays mostly dry from June through September.
