Big Brother Boulder is a climbing area in Joshua Tree National Park in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of boulders and rock walls, with several named climbing areas within about a tenth of a mile. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Yucca Valley weather station show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F, while summer highs reach the mid-90s. A fee is charged for climbing here, according to the National Park Service. That makes it worth planning for before you go. Other climbing areas close by include Sidekick Boulder, West Wall Inner (Jane's Addiction Area) and East Wall Inner (Exorcist Area), each about 0.1 mile away. Ryan Mountain Trailhead is about 0.6 mile off for a hike.
