(b) North Face is a climbing area in the San Jacinto Wilderness, part of the San Jacinto Ranger District of San Bernardino National Forest in California. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within designated wilderness. The climbing here is all trad, with 17 routes spread across the face. Grades run from 5.5 to 5.10d, with the median at 5.9. Among the named routes are West Lark at 5.5, El Dorado at 5.10a and Elegant Arch at 5.10d. The Northeast Rib and Northeast Face East are also close by. The Upper Northeast Buttress and (a) Northeast Buttress both lie about 0.1 mile away.
