Acid Wash Cave is a climbing area in eastern California on public land managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Bishop Field Office. Spring and fall are typically the most comfortable times to climb here: typical averages from the nearby Bishop airport weather station run about 74°F for highs and 37°F for lows in April, and about 78°F and 37°F in October. Summer is hot at that station, with July highs near 100°F, while winter highs sit in the mid-50s with lows in the 20s. Neighbors are close. Slow Dance Cave and Corner Boulder are each about 0.1 mile away, and the Happy Boulders Trail is about 0.2 mile off. For an overnight base, Pleasant Valley Pit Campground is roughly 3.6 miles away.
