It sits among a cluster of bouldering spots, with The Boxcar Woody and Boxcar Woody Boulders each about 0.1 mile away and Saddle Boulders about 0.2 mile off. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Vacaville weather station show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 81°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. For a change from bouldering, the Al Patch Track Footpath is about 4 miles away and the Twin Fawn Trail about 4.6 miles away. Paddlers can reach Suisun Creek, roughly 10 miles off.
