Erika's Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in California's Tahoe National Forest, within the Truckee Ranger District and on Waddle Ranch. The out-and-back ride covers about a mile, with a low point of 6,067 feet and a high of 6,265 feet, a climb of about 200 feet one way. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Truckee-Tahoe run to highs around 76°F in June and 85°F in July, with lows in the 30s. Winter is cold, with January highs near 42°F and lows around 13°F. Matt's Trail, a hike, lies about 0.4 miles away, and the Royal Flush mountain biking route is about 0.6 miles off. Climbers can head to the "Green Acres Project" Boulder, about 1.5 miles away, and paddlers will find Martis Creek roughly 3.6 miles from the trail.
