East Perimeter Trail is a mountain biking route in the Truckee Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest in California, about 1.1 miles long and roughly 2.2 miles when ridden out and back. It rises about 283 feet from a low point of 6,188 feet to a high of 6,489 feet, making it an easy ride for a short outing on the forest's perimeter. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 44°F and only a couple of wet days, while winter brings highs in the low 40s and frequent rain. The Donner Lake Rim Trail and the Tahoe Donner Boulder climbing area both sit about 0.6 miles away. Granite Flat campground is about 2.6 miles off, and Granite Flat (California) is about 2.9 miles away.
