Lemurian Delirium is a 3.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Mt. Shasta Ranger District of Shasta-Trinity National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 3,933 feet to about 4,637 feet, a climb of 698 feet, and is rated moderate. The route is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. It sits within the Mt. Shasta Ranger District, and the nearest town is Mt. Shasta, about a mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt. Shasta show July highs around 85°F with only about two wet days, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 13 days a month. That station sits about 1,000 feet below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. The hike starts close to two other trails, Lollipop and Gateway, each about 0.1 mile away.
