Silver Lake Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Mono Lake Ranger District of Inyo National Forest in California, about 12 miles from the town of Lee Vining. It sits at a high elevation, and the nearest town is June Lake, with the June Lake (CA) unit of the same campground just 0.1 mile away. The site has flush toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Lee Vining show July highs around 84°F with lows near 54°F, while winter highs stay in the low 40s. Several other spots are close by. Rush Creek and the Lower Rush Creek Loop are both within half a mile, and the 9-Secor climbing area is about 0.6 mile away. Aerie Crag Rv Campgroung is roughly 1.5 miles off.
