Dillon Creek Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Happy Camp Ranger District of Klamath National Forest, in northern California. It sits along Dillon Creek, about 1,780 feet above sea level, in a forest of mixed hardwoods and conifers. The Klamath River runs alongside the site, and the nearby Salmon River offers more water. The campground has several single-family campsites, each with a picnic table and a campfire ring with a grill. Vault toilets are provided, and roads throughout the campground are paved. A host may be on-site. The site is reservable, and no campsites are listed as accessible. Fall and early winter are the best times for salmon and steelhead fishing, which is considered the finest in California. Summer brings the warmest weather, with typical July highs around 92°F and only about one wet day a month, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Orleans. That station sits well below the campground, so temperatures here run cooler. Dillon campground is just 0.1 mile away, and the Dillon Creek hike starts about 0.2 mile off. Rock Creek and Ukonom Creek, a canoeing spot, are both within about 6 miles.
