Dillon is a Forest Service campground in the Happy Camp Ranger District of Klamath National Forest in northern California. It sits within the Klamath National Forest, managed by the Forest Service, and its closest neighbors are Dillon Creek Campground and the Dillon Creek hike, both about 0.1 mile away. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for use. Summer is the driest stretch, with typical July and August highs around 91 to 92°F and only about one wet day a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 40s and rain on roughly half the days. These are typical averages from a nearby weather station in Orleans, which sits a few hundred feet lower than the campground, so temperatures at Dillon may run slightly cooler. Other outings lie within a short drive. Rock Creek is about 4 miles away, and Ukonom Creek offers canoeing about 5.5 miles off. North Fork Dillon Creek and Ten Bear are both within about 6.5 miles.
