Woods Mountain is a bouldering area in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest, within the Pleasant Hill Ranger District in Arkansas. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing here is all bouldering, with two routes listed: Tail Whip at V6-7 and Flaming Glory at V10. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Clarksville show October highs around 72°F with lows near 52°F, and April is similar at about 70°F by day and 49°F at night. That station sits roughly 680 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. Strawberry and Mamba Wall are both about a mile away, and the Big Piney Region is about 4.5 miles off. For an overnight stay, Ozone Campground is about 7.4 miles away.
