The Tomb is a climbing area in the Buffalo Ranger District of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with The Oasis and Wood Wall both about 0.1 mile away, and The Fire Wall at a similar distance. The Deer Tower North Loop hike is 0.2 mile off. The climbing here is sport-based, with 22 sport routes and two trad routes among the 24 listed. The YDS grades run from 5.9- up to 5.13-, with the median at 5.12a. Some of the named routes include Davy Jones' Locker (5.9-), The Ossuary (5.11d) and Rigor Mortis (5.13-). Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Clarksville show October highs around 72°F and April highs around 70°F, while July and August average about 90°F.
