West Side is a climbing area in Arkansas, about 2.4 miles from the community of Mount Sherman. It sits among a tight cluster of other named climbing areas, making it one stop in a larger set of nearby crags rather than a standalone destination. For timing, the shoulder seasons are the most comfortable choice: a nearby weather station at Kingston records typical average highs around 66°F in April and 67°F in October, with lows in the mid-40s. Summer averages climb into the mid-80s, while winter highs typically sit in the 40s. Several neighboring areas lie within about 0.1 mile, including Sloping Joe Boulder, Mullet Buttress and Land of the Lost, so it's easy to string together a day across multiple spots. The Buffalo River is about 3 miles away for anglers looking to round out a trip.
