It sits right next to the Hillside Boulder Area, which is just 0.1 mile away, so the two make an easy pairing for a day of climbing. The area is a cluster of six boulder problems, all rated between V2 and V4 on the V scale. The easiest are Protect ya neck and Tree Beard at V2, and the hardest are Cross Dresser and Rose Among Thorns at V4. The problems are all boulders, so there's no rope climbing to plan for. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Searcy weather station show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar at about 73°F by day and 50°F at night.
