The Dog House is a bouldering area in Arkansas, about 1.5 miles from the town of Crossroads. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Gasfields (Proper) and The Pit both about 0.1 mile away, and SCR House at a similar distance. The Cellar is roughly 0.8 mile off, making this a compact, close-together bouldering hub. The climbing here is all bouldering, with eight routes spread across the area. Grades run from V0 to V3, and most of the routes are V0 or V0-1. The hardest is R.O.P. Dyno at V3. The first ascents of many of these routes were made by Kyle Rowden in November 2011, and Cujo is the only one with a different first climber, John Saul. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Greers Ferry Dam weather station show October highs around 73°F and April highs around 72°F, while July and August average highs near 91°F. Paddlers can head to Cadron Creek, about 3.2 miles away, or to Clear Creek, about 9.6 miles away. Greers Ferry Lake, roughly 9.7 miles off, offers lake fishing.
