Deer Run Trail is a mountain biking route in Village Creek State Park in Arkansas, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is an out-and-back that runs about 8.9 miles round trip, with a total climb of about 1,000 feet and a total descent of about 1,000 feet. The route starts at an elevation of about 350 feet and reaches a high point of about 428 feet. The climb is steady, and the steepest stretch comes at about 4.1 miles, where the grade reaches about 11 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Wynne show October highs around 76°F and April highs around 73°F, while July and August average in the low 90s.
