Prayer of the Woods Trail is a short, easy hike of about 1.4 miles in the Womble Ranger District of Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is natural-surfaced, and the climb is gentle, with a total gain of about 89 feet and a steepest stretch of about 12% at roughly 0.3 miles in. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mount Ida show October highs around 75°F with lows near 49°F, and April is similar at about 74°F by day and 49°F at night.
