Cedar Falls Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is about 1.3 miles long, with a low point of 560 feet and a high of 632 feet, so the one-way climb is about 56 feet. The trail is close to the park's center, and the nearest town is Morrilton, about 10 miles away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Morrilton show October highs around 75°F with lows near 49°F, and April highs around 73°F. That station sits about 300 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the trail run a little cooler. Canyon Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and Seven Hollows Trail is about 0.4 mile off.
