About Cochise Head

Cochise Head is a summit in the Douglas Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in southeastern Arizona, about 15 miles from the town of San Simon. It sits on national forest land, so planning starts with the surrounding trail network rather than a single marked route to the top. Two trails lie about 0.8 miles away: Cochise Head Trail and Horse Trail. Whitetail Trail is a little over 2 miles off, and Echo Canyon is about 3.4 miles away.
