Square Top Boulder is a bouldering area on Forest Service land in Arizona's Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots about 0.3 miles from the Bug Springs Trail and General Hitchcock campground, and about 0.4 miles from Paradox Rock. The boulders here draw climbers with their V0- to V2 grades, which cover five boulder problems in total. The routes include Aretey Done (V0-), Middle Slab (V1-2), Pun-usher (V1) and Left Undone (V2). Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons for a visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon put May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, while the station sits about 1,000 feet below the boulders, so temperatures on top run a little cooler.
