Solomon Area is a climbing area on State Trust Land in Arizona, managed by the State Department of Land. It sits among several other climbing areas, with The Promised Land and Valerie's Book Area each about 0.1 mile away, making it easy to pair with those spots in a single visit. The area has six sport routes, with grades ranging from 5.4 to 5.12a. The easiest is Cupcake at 5.4, and the hardest is Solomon at 5.12a. The Golden Idol and Burning Bosch both sit around 5.10. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from the nearby Chino Valley weather station show April highs around 71°F and October highs around 76°F, while July and August average in the low 90s. For a change from the rock, Gold Tank Trail is about 6.6 miles away, and Prospect Point is about 7.2 miles away.
