The Old Standard Area, also known as the Bath Room Boulders, is a bouldering area in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, within the Douglas Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the site sits about 0.1 mile from Cochise Stronghold and the Campground Area Boulders, which makes it an easy add-on to a day at the campground. The climbing is all bouldering, with seven routes spread across the area. The grades range from V0 to V4, and the median is V3. Among the named routes are Coati Compression and Leaning Crack, both V4, and Coati Corner, a V2 that was first ascended by "Old School." Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Pearce - Sunsites weather station, about 7.7 miles away, put April highs near 78°F and October highs near 80°F. That station sits about 600 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the climbing area run cooler.
