Moon Roof is a bouldering area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Mars Roof and Monster Roof each about 0.2 miles away. The area is a bouldering destination, with six routes all rated on the V scale. The easiest is Europa at V0+, and the hardest is Sea of Tranquility at V9. The routes range from V2 to V3-4, with Star Link and Tycho in the V3 range. The first ascents of most of these were done by Flagstaff Oldschool, with Star Link credited to Luke Bertelsen, a Flagstaff legend. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Flagstaff show May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 to 13 a month. Nearby, the Seminary and Ward hikes are both within about 3 miles. Lake Mary Recreation Corridor and Marshall Lake, about 4.6 and 5 miles away, offer fishing.
