The Mecca Area (Northeast Face) is a climbing area in the Bradshaw Ranger District of Prescott National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots and trails, with Thumb Butte and Outfrumunders both within a few tenths of a mile. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Prescott weather station show October highs around 73°F with lows near 40°F, and May highs around 76°F, while July and August climb to about 90°F and bring more frequent wet days. Thumb Butte and Outfrumunders are the closest climbing areas, and the Thumb Butte Bypass and Water Tower hikes are both about 0.4 miles away. For overnight stays, the Fdr373-Thumb Butte Loop Designated Disp. campground is about 1.7 miles off.
