Mars Roof is a climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Moon Roof about 0.2 miles away and Schlotski Roof about 0.3 miles off, so the area works well as a cluster of objectives rather than a single destination. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days. Hikers can head to Seminary, about 2.8 miles away, or Ward, about 3.1 miles away. Lakeview Campground is about 7.1 miles from the area.
