San Pedro Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route on Bureau of Land Management land in the Tucson Field Office, about 0.35 miles long and rated easy. It's a green circle trail, an out-and-back that starts and ends at roughly 4,067 feet, with a flat climb profile and only about 34 feet of total gain and loss over the full 0.7-mile loop. The trail is designed for beginners, offering mixed dirt and basic terrain changes that fit the Sonoran Desert landscape. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Sierra Vista weather station run from highs around 77°F in April to about 80°F in October, while July and August bring highs in the low 90s and more frequent wet days. Nearby, the Murray Springs Clovis Site Trail is about 1.5 miles away, and the Petroglyph Discovery Trail is about 3.8 miles off.
