Middle Trail is a short out-and-back mountain biking route in Arizona's Coconino National Forest, within the Red Rock Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail sits at about 4,200 feet, with a high point of 4,270 feet and a total climb of 135 feet over the round trip. The ride is rated moderate, with the steepest stretch at about 0.09 miles in. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sedona show April highs around 75°F and October highs near 79°F, while July highs reach about 97°F. The trail makes an easy pairing with other outings in the area. The Middle #135B hike starts just 0.1 mile away, the Big Park Loop mountain biking route is about 0.2 mile off, and the Courthouse Butte climbing area lies roughly 0.3 mile away. For an overnight stay, Chavez Crossing campground is about 3.4 miles from the trail.
