Miller Creek Trail is a hard hike in the Rincon Mountain Wilderness, part of the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail lies within designated wilderness. The route is an out-and-back of about 7.3 miles, with a one-way climb of roughly 1,913 feet. The trail starts at about 4,222 feet and reaches a high point of about 6,182 feet. The climb is front-loaded, so the steepest part comes early in the trip. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, while winter highs sit near 50°F with lows in the low 30s. Miller Canyon lies just 0.1 mile away, and Turkey Creek and Rincon Creek Trail are both within about 2 miles. For a change of pace, the San Pedro River offers canoeing about 6.5 miles off.
