Rincon Peak Trail is an easy, out-and-back hike in Arizona's Saguaro National Park, within the Saguaro Wilderness. The trail is about a mile long, with an elevation gain of 794 feet, and it reaches a high point of 8,480 feet. The National Park Service manages the land. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.17 miles from the trailhead. That section has a grade of 46 percent. The trip takes about an hour, and the trail is open year-round. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon show highs around 71°F in May and 68°F in October, while winter highs sit near 50°F. That station sits roughly 1,450 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on the peak run cooler.
