Tortilla Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Mesa Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona, about 3 miles from the Mormon Flat weather station. It sits at a low elevation, roughly 1,700 feet, and is managed by the Forest Service. A fee is charged for stays, and the site has flush toilets. Winter and early spring are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Mormon Flat station show January highs around 67°F and lows near 44°F, while June and July average highs in the mid-to-upper 100s. Several other spots lie within a few miles. Upper La Barge Canyon is about 1.4 miles away, and Palo Verde offers lake fishing about 2 miles off. The Point campground and Boulder Canyon Trail are both about 2 miles away.
