Kaibab Lake is a Forest Service campground in the Williams Ranger District of Arizona's Kaibab National Forest, about 3 miles from the town of Williams. It is a simple base for an overnight stay, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity. Fees are charged for use of the site. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically May and September, when typical averages from the nearby Williams weather station run from highs around 71°F to 76°F and lows in the upper 30s and low 40s. July and August are warmer, with highs in the low 80s, and bring the most wet days of the year. Kaibab Lake Sites And Group Areas, a pier fishing spot, is less than a mile away. The Powerline Trail is about 1.7 miles off, and Dogtown Lake Campground and Group is roughly 4.4 miles away. Climbers can find Bill Williams Mountain about 6 miles from the campground.
