Trinity Mountains

The Trinity Mountains are a rugged and remote mountain range located in the northern part of California. Characterized by steep, forested slopes and deep river canyons, the Trinity Mountains offer a beautiful and challenging wilderness experience. The range is part of the Klamath Mountains geological province and is known for its diverse plant and animal life, including stands of ancient-growth forests. Elevations range from around 2,000 feet in the valleys to over 8,000 feet at the highest peaks, creating a variety of ecosystems and microclimates.
