Shandin Hills

The Shandin Hills are a small mountain range located in central California, near the city of Fresno. This range is part of the larger Sierra Nevada mountain system, but remains relatively obscure compared to the more famous peaks and ranges in the region. The Shandin Hills rise gradually from the surrounding foothills, with gently sloping, forested slopes and a few modest peaks. The terrain is predominantly rocky and rugged, with a mix of pine, oak, and chaparral vegetation covering the hillsides. While not as dramatic or extensive as the High Sierra further north, the Shandin Hills offer a quieter, more secluded outdoor experience for visitors.
