Resting Spring Range

The Resting Spring Range is a rugged and remote mountain range located in eastern California, near the Nevada border. Characterized by steep, rocky terrain and sparse vegetation, the range rises abruptly from the surrounding desert landscape, creating a dramatic and isolated wilderness environment. Geologically, the range is composed primarily of sedimentary and metamorphic rock formations, with evidence of past volcanic activity. Elevations range from around 3,000 feet in the foothills to over 7,000 feet at the highest peaks, offering a range of ecosystems and microclimates to explore.
