Seeing where you're signed in, and signing out a device
Review the devices signed in to your account and end any session you do not recognise.
Where to find them
Open your profile and choose the Security tab. The Active sessions card lists the devices currently signed in to your account, with a rough device description and when each was last active. We show the device and its recent activity only — we do not try to guess a location from the connection, because those guesses are frequently wrong and a wrong location on a security screen is worse than none.
Why a device may say "Unknown device"
Some sign-ins do not tell us what kind of device they came from, so the list shows Unknown device rather than guessing. That on its own is not a sign of anything wrong. Judge a session by whether the timing looks like you.
Ending a session
Select End session next to the device and confirm. That device can no longer renew its access, and it will be signed out within the hour. It is not instant, and we would rather tell you that than imply otherwise — if you believe someone else is using your account, change your password as well. That takes effect straight away and also disconnects every connected app.
If you do not recognise a session
End it, then change your password immediately. Changing your password signs out every other device and disconnects every connected app in one step, which is the fastest way to take back control of an account.
