About Stories in the Soil: Tracks, Scats, and Scrapes! Oh My!: Ranger-Led Talks and Activities (Craggy Gardens Visitor Center - Milepost 364)

Wildlife are abundant in the Blue Ridge, and one of the most exciting opportunities of many visitor's journey is catching a glimpse of a furry, finned, or feathered creature. Though we may not always see our elusive neighbors, they tend to follow paths of least resistance and share the very trails we take. If you know what to look for, you can see signs that wildlife leave behind and gain insights to how they are using their habitat. Join a ranger for a 20-minute program and learn about our wildlife and the signs they leave behind.

From the National Park Service.

Good to know: The 20-minute “talk” portion of the program starts at 1:30 PM.
