About History of Craggy Gardens: Guided High Elevation Hike (Craggy Gardens Visitor Center - Milepost 364)

Join a ranger for an easy, one mile, one-hour hike of Craggy Gardens and learn about the natural and cultural history of the area. From globally rare ecosystems, to unique forests, Craggy Gardens has so much diversity to explore!

The hike will be approximately 1 mile out and back, and the trail is easy-to-moderate, on rocky terrain. Expect the trail to be slick, especially if there has been dense fog or rain recently.

You must wear closed-toed shoes appropriate for a trail walk. Please bring water and rain gear in case of a turn in the weather. If there is light rain, the hike will continue if everyone is sufficiently prepared. In the event of thunder or other dangerous conditions, the hike will be canceled.

From the National Park Service.

Good to know: This 60-minute hike starts at 10:45AM.
