Fratt

Fratt was a small farming settlement and flag station in northeastern Bexar County, Texas, established by mostly German settlers shortly before 1900. At its modest peak in the 1930s, it supported a store and a church, but the community never grew large and had dwindled to around 25 residents by late 1946. By the 1960s it had faded so completely that it disappeared from maps entirely.

Today the area sits near the interchange of Interstate 35 and Loop 410 on San Antonio's northeastern side, now absorbed into the urban fabric of the city. There are no documented remains or preserved structures to seek out, and visitors should expect little evidence of the original settlement. This is a place of historical curiosity rather than a traditional recreation destination.
