About Pine River Campground
Pine River Campground is located four miles beyond Middle Mountain Campground, at the end of Forest Rd. 602. The campground is adjacent to the trailhead for the Pine River Trail #523 This area is often used as a temporary base camp and parking area for hikers and backpackers. Campsites accommodate only tents or small RVs. All 6 campsites have views up the Pine River Valley. Private land adjoins the campground, with no public access to the river until three miles up the trail. There is no potable water.
