About this water
Sardis Lake is one of Mississippi's largest reservoirs, covering over 58,000 acres and managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. It is well known for excellent crappie, largemouth bass, and catfish fishing, particularly in the spring when fish move into shallow timber. Anglers commonly fish the flooded timber and creek channels for best results.
