About this water
Presque Isle Bay on Lake Erie is one of Pennsylvania's top walleye and yellow perch fisheries, with access to the open waters of Lake Erie for steelhead trout in fall and winter. The protected bay offers calmer conditions than the open lake and holds excellent populations of smallmouth bass and yellow perch. Steelhead fishing in the tributary streams and along the Erie shoreline is world-class from October through April.
